Lauren is a Registered Clinical Psychologist, trained in Dialectical Behaviour Therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, and Solution-Focused individual and family therapy. Although she works with clients of all ages, she specializes in working with pre-adolescent, adolescent and young adult clients. She has a Doctor of Philosophy in Clinical-Developmental Psychology from York University. Lauren has worked in public schools, children’s hospitals, and inpatient and outpatient mental health clinics. She has training and experience working with a wide range of mental health concerns, including depression, anxiety, trauma, suicidality, self-harm, emotion regulation, personality disorders, eating disorders, and chronic pain. Lauren enjoys working with individuals and families to address their needs while building on their strengths. She is passionate about helping clients develop skills to create a life worth living. Outside of work Lauren enjoys spending time in the mountains and with her pets.
